Tobias Brannig is a celebrated mechanical engineer whose bridges, factories, railways, and colossal machines have transformed Gearinthia.

A gifted builder from childhood, he later studied engineering and industrial architecture at Brassminster, where he focused on practical inventions that improved everyday life.

Tobias believes machinery should do more than perform a task—it should change the world.

Tobias’s greatest projects—including the Brannig Titanworks, floating foundations, bridges, and steam railways—established him as one of Gearinthia’s finest engineers.

As a member of the Gilded Council of S.T.E.A.M., he transformed the others’ theories into working machinery and built the framework of the Vaporgate.

When its beams began vibrating and unseen gears turned beneath the foundations, Tobias realized the machine was changing beyond his understanding.

Still, he continued.

Some call him the architect of Gearinthia’s future. Others fear his machines have become too powerful to control.

Tobias believes the answer is always better engineering.
